Weekly Update: May 15 - May 22, 2015

Take CTfastrak to the Hartford Wolfpack playoff game tonight!
Get off at the Bushnell/Asylum Avenue or Travelers @ Main Street stop and walk over to the XL Center. For return travel toward New Britain after the game, the most convenient ‪CTfastrak‬ stop is in front of Hartford 21 at the corner of Asylum & Trumbull.  Buses run until 12:45 am!  For schedules click here

Contractors will be working at all of the new stations to complete final construction items.  Nighttime work may be encountered.

 

Hartford

  • I-84 exit and entry ramps to and from Flatbush Avenue (Exit 45) - Construction activity and reduced lane widths. View New Ramp Map Here
  • Park Street between Sisson Avenue and Pope Park Highway.
  • The intersection of Sigourney Street, Hawthorn Street, and the I-84 exit and entry ramps (Exit 47) - Traffic shifts and lane closures should be expected..
  • The I-84 eastbound exit ramp to Asylum Street (Exit 48A) at the exit merge with CTfastrak - various contractor activity. View Final Ramp Configuration Here


Pedestrian/Cyclist Impacts

  • On Park Street between Pope Park Highway and Sisson Avenue in Hartford. Pedestrians may be shifted to different sides of the road depending on work locations. However, through pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.


Please Be Advised:

  • Signs, cones, barriers, and police will be posted as necessary to help guide the public.
  • Lane closures, traffic shifts, and road closures may may possible in any location.
  • Access to local businesses and residences within the work zone will be maintained.
  • All work will occur weather permitting and will be rescheduled if necessary.
  • Be alert around railroad tracks. Never stop your vehicle on a railroad crossing.
