Columbus Boulevard at Truman Overpass and the PriceRight shopping plaza - Reconstruction of the PanAm rail crossing and intersection improvements at Robert Loughery Way is scheduled to begin Monday, July 27, 2015. Work is scheduled to last approximately 4 to 5 weeks.

The work is being performed as part of the construction of CTfastrak.

One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times on Columbus Boulevard. Pedestrian access to the station and trail at this location will be prohibited during construction. Pedestrians may access the station and trail via Main Street or Stanley Street. See alternate access map here

Please Be Advised:

  • Signs, cones, barriers, and police will be posted as necessary to help guide the public.
  • Lane closures, traffic shifts, and road closures may may possible in any location.
  • Access to local businesses and residences within the work zone will be maintained.
  • All work will occur weather permitting and will be rescheduled if necessary.
  • Be alert around railroad tracks. Never stop your vehicle on a railroad crossing.
